VOLUNTEER DESCRIPTIONS

 

  • Packet Pick Up: Hand out race bibs and shirts (as applicable) to pre-registered participants.

​

  • Set Up: Assist with course layout to distribute barricades and cones prior to the race and to collect barricades and cones post-race.

​

  • Registration/Finish Line: Assist participants with registration for the 5K and 1 Mile Kids' Dash and deliver late registration forms from registration table to race management representatives.

​

  • Course Volunteer: Ensure runner safety on course by a) directing runners along the race route and b) using your best cheering voice to encourage the participants.

​

  • Aid Station: Supply water to bypassing participants. Keep debris clear from race route surface. Setup/teardown station before/after event. Cheer on participants!

​

  • Kids' Dash: Direct participants to Start Line and use best cheering voice to encourage participants.

​

  • Clean Up: Help breakdown the race start/finish area.

All Volunteers receive a special RR4K shirt.
