About Us

For a hundred years, Ann Arbor Public Schools' Community Education and Recreation Division (aka "Rec & Ed") has provided high quality enrichment and recreational opportunities for youth and adults in Ann Arbor. We strive to live up to our mission of improving the quality of life in Ann Arbor through education and recreation for all greater Ann Arbor residents.

We're proud to provide youth programming that starts in early childhood and continues for high school students. From our beloved Safety Town program for entering Kindergarteners, to after school enrichment, to weekend recreational sports, to our huge variety of summer camps serving all ages -- we really do offer something for everyone.
